Last updated 9 months ago

The McCallum Graduate School at Bentley University offers a variety of MBA and MS programs, including dual-degree credit. Our Master of Science in Information Technology program was ranked #18 in the United States and #3 in New England by the U.S. News & World Report. Let’s take a look at what should you expect from our MSIT program.

Program Goals

The MSIT program examines technology from a business perspective. Our courses employ the latest database and statistical technologies, which are also currently being used by major corporations in the field, to equip students for real-world situations which they will soon be facing in their careers.

Curriculum

The information technology curriculum is based on a six-course core of programs focused on promoting a working knowledge of business systems, database technologies, communications systems and fostering a spirit of cooperation and understanding. These courses provide the technical foundation for the degree, and the remaining four courses can follow any number of specialized tracks of study. Our course schedule is extremely flexible, offering a variety of night classes as well as week-long intensive courses during the summer that pack an entire class into one week. Options for specialized track courses include web-based application design, data management architectures, data warehousing and mining, and global IT project management, among many others.

Our business-oriented MSIT graduate program is tailored specifically to what employers and corporations are looking for in new employees. The McCallum Graduate School at Bentley University in Boston also offers a variety of other MBA and MS graduate degree programs.
